    Very nice! Hard to argue with red against an ebony fretboard. I assume the switches are coil cuts or something?

    Active pups? I see a 9 volt battery compartment on the back.

    Thanks gang.

    The switches are 2 coil cutters and 1 phase and yes it has active controls. The Holdsworth pups are moderate outputs so I'm glad I got them for heavy playing.

    The cleans sounded good for what I got, a Peavey half stack and a Fender bass amp so I don't know what clean clean is gonna sound like. Playing heavy? It RAWKS!

    The pics here doesn't do the guitar justice and I'm going to do some outdoor shots to show the grains, it's pretty subtle.

    I loved my Carvin when I had it and still regret selling it. That looks great.

    Congrats on your new guitar. Carvin builds excellent guitar, unfortunately there is not many people who know this. Your guitar is a weapon, I bet!
