    That was very interesting. I had no idea Duane Allman played on that song. To be honest, I had always thought Derek & The Dominoes was a band where EC was just the side guitarist : (thanks Wiki fior clearing that up). It's the first time I've heard of the producer (Tom Dowd) as well, he has a very good natured demeanor about him. It was fascinating watching him do the mix on the desk. Was he wearing an Atlantic Records shirt?

    For you guys that are first learning about Tom Dowd, you should DEFINITELY get this movie, from Netflix or the video store or buy it or whatever, but it's a must-see. Dowd's contributions to the world of recorded music are immense.

    Tom Dowd was a musical genius. Great post!
    Suhnton, Duane played on several tracks on that album. That was a great collaboration which unfortunately was never to be repeated.
