Default the other newest shiner family member

    got here today.

i was home sick with Maggie today; shiner told me she'd arrived at his office.

i bought the LP ultra that Rocket pictured in this thread

    http://www.thefret.net/showthread.php?t=10616

she's the first gibby i've ever played. wow. thick, rich sound. thinner neck than any other guitar i own, which helps me play the fist-o-chords w/o muting.

very, very cool. Rocket, she's awesome.

    [strummy: i'm sorry, dude... i didn't want her unless you couldn't partake...when you couldn't....]

and officially: moratorium on guitars for cb. shiner, now, that's another story. saving up for his bday. but nothing new for me for at least a year.

i was too sick to do much of anything last night, but i'm feeling better today, and told shiner i wanted to play her tonight.

sat on the floor with her in my lap and cranked the firefly.

she growls. she sounds like she has an overdrive hooked to her automagically. very light, contoured body...

and darned if shiner didn't come in here, as allergic as he is to electrics, and ask to play her.

he's performing hotel california as i type.

    [o now, it's margaritaville. (laugh)]

shiner plans to take pics a little later this afternoon of what he calls my 'trinity'... we need maggie to conk out for her afternoon nap before we can do that, tho.

and speaking of mags, DVM, recording is kinda on hold until we get her more independent and can trust her to play outside for awhile while we work in the music room... waaaayyy too much stuff to chew that she shouldn't.

Fully understand. Whenever you can get to it--might be a couple of months with a little pup like that! I've been S-O-O-O-O remiss in getting my own new gear clips done of late, you'll get no further jabs from me!! :

Very cute puppy CB. She looks like a gem.

First five pics of the guitars looks like dark side heaven. The other pictures look like, well, it looks like the other side (read:Shiner side)
