    Thanks street music!
I´m gonna work with my backing track to write a full song.
Fell in love with the sound and feel of it, so I thought "what the hell"

    Glad you liked it!

That is very 80's like and I like it! Your sound is super transparent! How did you record it and what gear did you use.

Your playing is very melodic! Great work!

One thing though - watch your timing a little bit, throughout some licks you are slightly out of time.

    Hey Jimi75!
I just use Drums on Demand drum+bass loops in my Cubase SE3
And then I recorded the Xaviere XV-700 guitar through my ZOOM GFX-1
and then through a LINE 6 Spider III straight into the soundcard.
I added some free Kjaerhus effects to "lift" the sound a bit.

About my playing a bit out of time, you´re absolutely right!
My "style" of playing 90% feel and 10% teqnuiqe so I know
in some of my recordings the timing is a bit off.
This one take was just for my test of playing more then just the
Box 1 and box 2 + some aeolian scales.
All playing I do is because of Robert Renman at dolphinstreet.com
and Anthony Stauffer at steviesnacks.com. I´m truly greatful to them!

But then again, I will have my timing in mind. I try to work with it.
Glad you like my melody, I listen to David Gilmour a lot to try and
copy his style and adept my own style and feel.

    Cheers

Sounds good Steffe! There is some keyboard in there if I'm not mistaken. How did you record those?

Nice tones and feel. Thanks for plugging me! :

    Thanks Robert!
I forgot the keyboard, that is some cool sounding padloops from
an old looppack I bought a year ago. That had some drums as well.

Nice one Steffe!! Luckily you didnt translate the original name of the recording

Care to share the backing track? (sharing is so popular in Sweden these days... cough... )
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
