    Default MW Tele mod

Was cleaning up my guitar work bench and parts bin and came across a set of dice knobs I had from an old project guitar.....well I've been wanting to make my MW Telecaster a tad less signature visually and more 'me'....so I swapped out the Fender amp knobs that were on it for the dice....I dunno if I like 'em yet...but they are pimpin'

    Check 'em out.

I dunno, man--I like the knobs, but not on that guitar. The Fender knobs are part of what distinguishes the MW Tele and pays homage to its namesake. But they'd really spruce up a plain ol' Squier or MIM Tele! Just one man's opinion....

i'm not a fan of dice knobs or any other novelty type knobs....and i agree with duhvoodoo...those amp knobs are part of what makes the mw tele a mw tele.

I third the montion of no dice for knobs on the MW's guitar.

Hmm. I wonder what Tremolo will say? No dice!

Man I seem to be the only one that digs them. I like a guitar to be who I am, not an artist......I just happen to love the general specs of the guitar, I didn't buy it because it's a signature guitar. They stay on for now.....

After seeing the pics a few times, the dice knobs have grown on me. I like 'em.

I look at guitars like motorcycles - customizing them to fit you is what's most important. Do you know how many people comment on my neon yellow or pink Strats? I got Marilyn Monroe as a pickguard for goodness sake! Most people may prefer the MW knobs, but it's your Tele so do with it whatever you want. I also love the MV knobs, but hey - whatever floats your boat!
