Default Fender Custom Shop '54 pickups

These are sweet sounding pickups. I found an old video clip on my computers, so I posted it - http://www.dolphinstreet.com/video_clips/video-19.php

Keep in mind the guitar is a very crappy guitar. Complete garbage to be honest. Still, I think there's some nice tones coming out of it. What do you think?

I love these pickups, except they hum too much when I play on a live stage.

They do sound very nice, but aren't these pickups much more expensive than other pickups (custom shop guitars are more money than "normal" guitars)?

The pickups were $130 I think for a set of 3.

Really! IMO that's a bargain for the tone you get. Unfortunately, the price in the U.K is a bit higher - $185, but when I upgrade I think I'll get these.
