That's some of the best funny I've seen in awhile..........and they deserve every bit. I esp. like the "torque screws" bit.

The D-tuna and EVH dive bomb references cracked me up.

I'll go ahead and say it. No banjo is worth $50,000. Ever.

Sure there is. If you can get one to cover up the harmonica player it's worth 50K.

Actually the D-tuna joke is a bit silly. Earl Scruggs and Bill Keith developed a preset banjo tuner way back that allowed you to instantly tune up or down. It could be adjusted for a semitone or a tone in range. Adrian Legg uses them on guitar to great effect.

Here's an earlier version. See the second picture and accompanying text

    Other than that,
    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience

It would have to be a BIG harmonica.

Another fine Gibson product that has not had the price artificially inflated at all. Those folks must be losing their collective shirts on this one. Makes me wonder if there'll be an Epi version for only $30k...?

    Excellent reviews, thanks spud
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

    Wow $50 grand???
Guess Wayne Newton will be in the Cue for this baby.

The one and only positive thing about most guitar players being broke is it probably keeps instruments prices down.
