    Default Pics of my 1998 Hamer Slammer DA3

    It has taken a beating through its life...Even was pawned once. Body seems to be basswood, maple neck with rosewood fretboard. Very light and resonant, with a nice thin finish. This was my very first electric guitar! I set it up nicely, so it plays really nice, very "soft" action, has a new nut, and recently I "reactivated" the tremolo system (I had blocked it a long time ago) with only two springs...Great for nice shimmery effects.

    All the "relicing" you see is natural.






    All it needs is some nice GFS pups and it'll be ready!

    I always wanted a black guitar with tortoise pearloid pickguard and rosewood fretboard!
    Very nice guitar man, it looks so pretteh, post some sound clips later.

    kerc, now THATS a nice banged up strat. Home relicing, aint it fun?
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
