    I've seen that before, and found those numbers to be pretty interesting. That guy has a pretty interesting site, especially when he gets into talk about EQing an amp.
    Guitars: 2003 and 2004 American series strats, Squier Classic Vibe 50's Strat, Squier Deluxe Strat.

    Yeah, I've read that site before & I agree with TS808 about the EQ discussion.

    This statement

    "Thus the Champ is 5 / .002 = 2,500 times louder than the desired level, which is headphone level."

    is completely odd.

    The desired level is to have your amp as loud as headphones?

    Go ahead! Place your headphones in the corner & crank'em & see how happy you'll be.

    very interesting! so just how much can I expect my super champ xd to have a sound level comparable to my princeton 65?
