Very sweet version!
It's nice to have some acoustic playing on The Fret.
Keep'em coming!
A friend of mine, Arvo, who lives in Indiana asked me to provide instrumentation for a cover of Neil Young's Old Man that he wanted to provide a vocal.
At his request I recorded all the acoustic instruments and Arvo sings.

I enjoyed the recording.
Steve
nice work ! I liked it alot.
Thanks for listening, guys! I appreciate it.
Blaze, I have a dozen or so different mics and I've used them all at one time or another in different configurations, but using a single Marshall MXL V67 right out in front of the soundhole seems to yield the best results, especially when I'm playing my Yairi DY55. If I happen to play a different acoustic guitars for a second or third track I'll switch to another mic set up and also perhaps a different preamp.
I don't record to computer. I record tracks to a Yamaha AW16G and then I export the tracks to PC and use Adobe Audition for track editing and final mixing.
