Default Effects used on Souls of Distortion?

What effects did Joe Satriani use on his "Souls of Distortion" song? Was it some type of auto-wah (envelope filter) or a regular wah pedal?

Sounds to me like a regular wah (especially in places where he holds a note, yet there are multiple "wahs"), although he has used auto-wahs in the past.

Yeah, if there's multiple wahs on a single note, then it probably isn't an auto-wah, right? Thanks!

I wouldn't think so unless he had some kind of delay before it, but that would seem to be more trouble than it's worth. He sure gives the wah a good workout though!
