Some stellar performances by Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown on guitar on this album.

I am in love with this EP.
Their first full release is out this week.
Hope it's as good as this.

The one that marked the big change in his sound.
It's also the first in what's looked at by many Waits fans as a trilogy along with hist next two Rain Dogs and Franks Wild Years.
I'm a fan of his much of his work prior to this point as well, but for me this is the heart of the "classic" Waits sound.

Swordfishtrombones has plenty of the style of his I like the most.

I'll get Franks Wild Years later this week. I like to get as many listens as possible with each album before going to the next.

Lindsey Buckingham - Seeds We Sow
Giving it a fair shot, but it needs a few more listens. A few so-so songs, but mostly keepers. He creates some nice textures in his music that we didn't always see in Fleetwood Mac.

Probably do a couple from this one ("Dead Flowers" for sure).

This showed up in the mail 2 days ago. There are several songs that I'll put in the top Smithereens all time list.

I'd vote it their quintessential album. If you've never listened to them, that's the place to start.

I'm guessing you mean 2011above, and not 11from 1989. A bit confusing, naming both with similar names.

Actually, I just looked quickly and thought it was 11 which is the one I am thinking of. My bad.
