Hm, can't make the IMG tags behave. I'm listening to Mastodon's new album, Crack the Skye. Beautiful stuff.

Just finished with the scintillating Paul Butterfield Blues Band version of the Elmore James classic...SHAKE YOUR MONEYMAKER. Some great house-rocking music.
For me, it is currently Bireli Lagrene and Transatlantic and some Richard Lehoux (know who that is? ).
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

I've had The Czars on all day. They made 3 GREAT CDs:

From 2000 - 2004. One of the most criminally overlooked groups ever! Vocals, musicianship, arrangements, production to die for! Kind of a cross between The Left Banke, Procol Harum and The Flaming Lips. Baroque flavored, keyboard-based ballad-pop w gnarly guitars thrown on to great effect, as well as trumpet, cello, flute...sometimes acoustic, sometimes hugely processed, sometimes both combined for a very heady brew! Truly great stuff!

Carpe diem, brother, cause you don't know how many diems you have left to carpe.
I've been in a major Mastodon mood since seeing them here in DC a couple of weeks back. Their first set was Crack the Skye, verbatim. It was an unbelievable show.Originally Posted by tunghaichuan

I remember the day he died. His death seems to be clouded in mystery. His family wouldn't divulge the details, although (I'm not trying to be funny here) considering his condition at the time, I guess suicide can be ruled out.Originally Posted by R_of_G
