    First listen to the newest release from Frisell which arrived in the mail today (complete with autographed promo poster). Only through the first few tracks but so far, it sounds like Frisell, which is to say, absolutely beautiful.

    I actually just read your post in the "Influential Guitar Players" thread and it piqued my interest so I am about to check it out.

    I'm a bit wary because frankly, I don't really like Krieger that much (can't stand the Doors) but I won't write him off entirely, and the Trane/Miles thing is enough to get me to give the samples a listen.
