Been watching vids of this band over and over again. Now somebody be smart enough to put them on a double bill with Star Anna & The Laughing Dogs as soon as possible.
Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth
I played this a few times more out of curiosity, not expecting much. I'd say about half of the songs sound pretty good to me. A few would be better if David Lee Roth shut up, but for the most part he still has his pipes minus the banshee scream.
Eddie sounds great. While his signature solos are impressive, his riffs and rhythm work is what I've always like the most.
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
I remember all the hype this album got when it was new, but never had must interest in listening to Rober Plant. Well, I gave it a listen, and yes, there are some really great sounding songs here. It deserves a few most listens.
Mark Knopfler - Live in Bergen 2010
Fantastic! I've never heard Knopfler sound this good (well, guitar that is...singing was a bit weak).

The Black Watch - Led Zeppelin Five
Discovered this band recently, though they have been around for a while. This might be something that Eric would enjoy. (BTW, they sound nothing like Zeppelin)

"This is indie pop guitar rock at its melodic, mid-period Beatles best. Lovely harmonies, trippy guitars and melotrons, very modern, with super literate lyrics."
