    NP: Still the new Ribot and likely will be stuck on that one for awhile. Been waiting since Saints (2001) for another entirely solo Ribot affair and this one delivers exactly what I was hoping for.

    Thanks, I think it is always a good choice. I had tended to hang more with Coltrane and "My Favorite Things" and "Impressions", but I am glad I got directed a bit further back to hear Miles, along with Coltane and Cannonball Adderly. The iTunes podcasts discussing the album I have been listening too are great too. (Dr. Gordon Vernick, Georgia State U, Jazz Insights).

    I will join you in some Lennon sometime later, but I am wrapped up in this right now.

    +1 on Ribot - I liked him ever since the stuff he did with Tom Waits
