Good stuff! Some excellent Larry Carlton solos, and the funky bass lines make me want to take up 5 chunky strings again.
Don't Take Me Alive is one of my favorite Steely Dan songs.

Definitely some great work from Mr. Carlton on that album.

Default Buddy Guy - Living Proof

His latest release shows he's not slowing, but getter better. Some very hot playing goin' on here. The lyrics are funny at times ("Let the Door Knob Hit Ya"), and the guitars are smokin' hot. One of his best albums.

If you like electric blues or have ever liked Buddy, you'll love this one.
"Guess What" and "Skanky" are my favorite songs so far.

Default Joe Satriani - Black Swans & Wormhole Wizards

This could easily be Joe's best album yet. Instead of the usual ultra-shredding from a virtuoso guitar player, we get some great music by a matured musician that has put the song first (the bigger picture).

I'm a little surprised and very happy with this release.
