I am waiting on my store to get an LP in along with a gold sg One is coming home with me I think .....should be mid next week according to my call yesterday!! Ill keep ya posted if you havent bought one yet
Ill have to buy some nickel covers for goldie,................I mean if I take home one: The LP has them:
"I love being alive and I will be the best man I possibly can. I will take love wherever I find it and offer it to whoever will take it... seek knowledge from those wiser and teach those who wish to learn from me."
"Develop your talent, man, and leave the world something. Records are really gifts from people. To think that an artist would love you enough to share his music with anyone is a beautiful thing."
Duane Skydog Allman
You come to a point in your life when you really don't care what people think about you, you just care what you think about yourself." - Evel Knievel
Over at the LP forum I heard they feel cheap, but I don't give a sh** about such comments, because it could be THE guitar for you!
"A lot of people in the industry want to blame downloading for the state of the business. But I think if most music wasn't shit to begin with people wouldn't be downloading it for free," - Corey Taylor (Slipknot)
I get that... unbound necks feel cheap to me. I have no issues with paying extra for fully bound guitars.Originally Posted by Jimi75

The SG looks like an awesome guitar to mod, if found at a resonable price. Nearly a grand is too much.
But it's easier work and already so cool as stock, giving a great Gibson 'Strat' vibe, missing only the trem bar. Experimenting with the electronics could yield serious results.
Hey Mud, you got one now? What is it like? I could imagine the Raw Power to be a great guitar. Thinking about getting me oneOriginally Posted by mrmudcat
