"I love being alive and I will be the best man I possibly can. I will take love wherever I find it and offer it to whoever will take it... seek knowledge from those wiser and teach those who wish to learn from me."
"Develop your talent, man, and leave the world something. Records are really gifts from people. To think that an artist would love you enough to share his music with anyone is a beautiful thing."

Over at the LP forum I heard they feel cheap, but I don't give a sh** about such comments, because it could be THE guitar for you!

I get that... unbound necks feel cheap to me. I have no issues with paying extra for fully bound guitars.

Anybody have more time with the RP LP http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Elec...Raw-Power.aspx

    or it's SG cousin?

The SG looks like an awesome guitar to mod, if found at a resonable price. Nearly a grand is too much.
But it's easier work and already so cool as stock, giving a great Gibson 'Strat' vibe, missing only the trem bar. Experimenting with the electronics could yield serious results.
