Maybe because at $129, that would be somewhat of a crime for that SX to have Alnico pickups?I feel better now knowing that those aren't the stock pickups. I don't know why but I just do.

Did you pick it up from him in person?
Bought it directly from him but not face to face. This one is a PCB amp but I have talked to Bruce Zinky (former Fender amp CS designer) about it, he told me the full story and that it's a little "different". This one has a Prosonic combo chassis but runs the full power section from the Tonemaster. The combos had verb the heads did not + the combos were voiced slightly differently from the heads. It's the only Prosonic head built with verb and the only 120 watt Prosonic ever built + a little of that Zinky magic as Bruce himself built this one: .Originally Posted by MichaelE
