    Default New guitar

I was getting rather tired of the thin sound of my Godin so I took the train to a nice music store today. I played quite a few guitars but what really catched my eyes was a pitch black Schecter C-1 Elite. Wonderful guitar! I flashed el credito and *boom* was on the train back home with a smile on my face

The retail price here is over 1200 usd! Anyway, I got a good deal on mine. 700 usd (it was a exhibition model, but really in mint condition). I´ve seen that you can get this guitar for 599 in the US, I highly recommend it!

More info on the C-1 Elite:
    http://www.schecterguitars.com/spec.asp?id=10

A review is coming up real soon...
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Nice guitar! The Godin's are a little up and down. Some of them are awesome, some of them sound thin.

Cranium, it has two duncan design humbuckers. It is the hb-104 which basically is a set of JB + Jazz but made in some chinese (?) sweatshop. They sound so rich & full. Very creamy sound! They sound great when I split the coils as well.. Guitars are so much more expensive here, so I think I made a good deal on this baby...

Robert, the godin had a twang to kill for But I really needed a more jazzy sound. The c-1 elite was certainly the cure for thin tone !

Cool guitar. Those get some pretty good reviews on Harmony Central. The binding on those guitars is pretty awesome too.

That's a great looking axe you got yourself, SS. You'll definitely turn some heads on jam night with that baby.

Very cool guitar , schecter has always made excellent instruments , Townsend played a schecter for a bit in the 80's i think , back then they were among the best of the new guitar companies ..does it have a bolt on , or set neck?

Here is a couple of quick shots of the C-1 Elite. I think the abalone bindings are very tasty.

Ooooo that IS a cool guitar. I like that it's got a hefty looking string through body. Nice brother.
