    Default Custom Speaker Cabinets

I have a friend of mine that used to build in car subwoofer cabinets for those big, booming bass systems. I helped him out a couple of times building these things, and it wasn't that difficult, and relatively inexpensive to do.

Maybe y'all could chime in here, as I have an idea.

What about a closed back cabinet that has a 15" on the bottom center, with 2 12" or 10" speakers on top? My thinking is that one could have the best of both worlds in one cabinet.

Is something like this feasible? Would it be worth the time and effort to design?

Peavey already did this. It was their bass cabinets they did it with. 18" and 2x10" or 15" and 2x10". They are biampable too.
