    Default Original Floyd fit in an Edge III cavity?

    would the OFR tremolo unit fit in the cavity cut out for my Edge III?
    Guitars: Ibanez RG420EG, Harrier Mistral Ice White Tele
    Amps: Hughes & Kettner Edition Blue 15R (w/ 8" Celestion), Marshall Valvestate Mk.I 8100 Head, Blackheart BH5H Head
    Cabs: Marshall 4x12 (4 x Celestion Pro 12")
    FX:Line 6 Floor POD, BOSS 7-band GE-7, BOSS Mega Distortion MD-2, Vox V847a Reissue Wah, Danelectro Cool Cat Drive

    anyone ever used a 'Gotoh' Luthier tremolo unit?

    Never heard of a Gotoh Luthier trem, but the Gotoh licensed Floyds are thought to be better than the real McCoy by several prominent people, including John Suhr. Cheaper too.

    yeah the gotoh tremolos are all about £110 ish, the OFR trems are in the range of £180-220 ish plus P&P.

    gotta get me new guitar first, but after that i think im gonna have a look into gotoh tremolos.
