Hey guys....did you all know that Toaster closed his shop? I was looking for some good pictures of the D46 that I bought from him and was looking for his website and it was down...but followed google to his myspace and says he closed up the doors in 2009.

Bummer. There were some good deals to be had with ole Dave. I know some (rocket) did not care for him....but he always treated me fair and have me a hell of a deal on my D46 and case.

That's not true. Rocket bought 2 high end guitars from Dave and would have bought a 3rd if he could have gotten it for him. I don't know why you would say such a thing Kazz.

Perhaps Kazz is thinking about what happened to the original plans for the first 'wagjam' (?) that got switched from being a southern country-cabin thing to a Weekend In Vegas? I don't recall exactly, since I abandoned the political circus of that forum (that particular incident, IMO, a particularly damaging one) to settle here and haven't gone back.

Sorry to hear that. I never bought a guitar from Toaster but he was a terrific source for strings. Best deals I ever found. Hope he's doing well.

Dave was doing pretty good at his land job and I know he was thinking about getting out of the guitar business or possibly moving to higher end guitars.

Kazz, well what can I say
