    Here's Paul Gilbert demonstrating how he does string skipping. Damn he's so freakin' amazing man. His fingers are longer than most people's privates!

    Actualy I think Steve Vai has the longest fingers, at least out of the ones I seen.

    Wow, what killer technique that guy has. I'm really enjoying that video. It just goes to show you how far you can go if you work out your phrasing and picking technique to the point where you can't tell which notes are picked and which ones are hammered/pulled off. He makes it look easy ...

    I have an Eric Johnon instructional video that that I like to watch for the same reason. He goes through several examples where he shows the different ways to approach a phrase by either picking every note or using more hammer-ons/pulloffs to make it smoother.
