    Default Vox V847a

firstly, wow! what a great pedal. Only £10 more than a Dunlop GCB-95 and yet so, so much nicer. Used as a treble or bass boost, it seems to be relatively silent, whereas the Line 6's wah is noisy as hell and very harsh.

the V847a has a very smooth sweep, and either frequency is very natural sounding, unless you introduce alot of Br00talz distortion, in which case it all becomes very surreal and metallica solo ish.

thats all i got for now, must keep tinkering!

Congratz IJ! You made the right choice. The Vox Wah is one ofthe best you can get.

That's what I use. Mine has been modded for true bypass. Decent wah for the money.

i took the wah off the pedalboard and plugged straight into the BH5H with it like

    Guitar > wah > amp

it really comes through how smooth the frequencies are without any other EQing (my POD and my EQ pedal boost mids and low end, so the treble sounds better without them in the loop)
