Default Joe Diorio Creative Jazz Guitar

Got this DVD today, and it's pretty cool. Pretty advanced though.

Joe is a great jazz player and he's got some really good points, but you have to be quite familiar with playing jazz before you get into this.

I will look into learning some of his ideas and see what I can make out of it.

He plays some really nice ideas where he uses fourths and fifths - ideas with long jump between the notes. Sounds so fresh, compared to the repetitive scale wanking most of us are guilty of.

Good DVD and if you are into jazz, this might be a good DVD for you.
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

Joe is a monster. I have a cd w/ him and Mick Goodrick that is fantastic. I'd like to check out his video sometime.

    Thanks,

It's a very inspiring video. Joe style is very interesting, and he's got so creativity, it's quite humbling.
