Never heard his name before. This sounds a lot like SRV?

Yup! Spudman turned me on to Indigenous. No doubt that the guy can play, but he sounds too derivative of SRV on many of their tunes. Then again, if I could play like Stevie, I'd prolly never stop either....

Their latest album is a little less SRV Voodoo.

    Good player anyway.

I am a Huge Fan Of Mato been following him since about 1990...I have all of their First out of print Cds Plus about 50 lives shows and a handfull of Dvd . He Plays the Hendrix Experience Almost every year. gets some b chen Tones thats For sure !!! the volume is a bit low on this but an example of his playing. Indigenous started out with Mato on Guitar ,Vocals/ his Sister Wanbdi on drums/ His brother PTI on Bass/ and cousin Horse on percussion....They went their seperate ways in about 2006 and Now Mato Tours with the Kris Lager band as Indigenous.
