    Default Epiphone Dot Studio

Hey, I was just wondering, is the Dot Studio very loud when played acoustically?
For example busking? Would it be loud enough?

I s'pose it depends on the noise level of where you'll be busking...

Since it's a pretty thin semi-hollow (with a sustain block), not as loud as a hollow body, like an Epi Casino, and louder still would be a thicker hollow body 'jazz box' type. I have a Casino and a dressy sister of the Dot, a Sheraton II, and the Casino is probably twice as loud unplugged.

    welcome.

No, none of the Thinlines are viable for acoustic play.

I don't have that much money but I want an archtop that can be played acoustically. As i will be going busking. I would like one that has the volume close to an acoustic or a little bit lower but still hearable from 10 ft away.
