    Default Snowy White

Remember Thin Lizzy? Pink Floyd? Roger Waters?
Yes Snowy played in all those bands.

One of the tastiest players to consistently sling a Les Paul. I figured he deserved a spot on thefret.net.

His tone is to die for but then again that is one special guitar no doubt.
Enjoy this clip and feel free to pump this guitar legend up to where he should be. Any favorite songs? Albums?
Let's hear it for the man! (and don't do any Flashdancing please)

I have Roger Waters-"The Wall Live From Berlin" video when they tore the wall separating east and west Berlin. What a great production. Awesome! Snowy is so good on that one too. What a tone. It makes my mouth water.

I often listen to Snowy White.. and just recently looked up what he uses for effects etc.. looking over his rig, it's pretty basic for anyone to make.. ofcourse you can't get that guitar..and never have his touch.. but I enjoyed looking at his pedal board... a great player we don't hear enough about! With anything and everything available for his use.. he get's his sound from these:

and a couple of VOX amps..

    nice setup!

And my favorite song of Snowy's is simple:

Looking at Snowy's setup..I noticed the Boss NS-2 he has..
Commented to T2TB about him not using the loop on the pedal and for that way it didn't work for me..
    should I tell Snowy? lol

thanks to T2TB's response I understand now..

When I first tried out the one I had problems with I hooked it up like that...through the in and out...
and it only cuts out electronic noise such as single coil hum, cable noise/hum, pedal hum...
but it doesn't cut EFFECT noise such as gain from a distortion pedal or compressor pedal or swoosh from a flanger or chorus pedal.
The way he has it hooked up it's only gonna cut out 60 cycle hum.

    Thanks Tone..

Now tell me..what's that little metal box above the red boss powersupply?

That yellow Line 6 looking thingy looks like some kinda modeler or something. That might not generate too much noise. Don't know about the blue and green one either. Blues Driver might be slightly hissy and the Holy Grail before it would probably generate some amplified noise once the BD is switched on. He's A/Bing the Voxs that's obvious. But yeah he does look like he's only running the NS-2 for line noise cause there is nothing running through it's noise reduction loop. I don't know what that thing is that you mentioned. I tried burning in the image to look but it didn't come up as anything I recognized.
