    You bet! I think they're fantastic pickups...
    Now I've since dropped the Mafia's in my
    Epi LP transamber and just the other day,
    Dropped a set of SWC zebras in my Epi LP
    Ultra. I've become the Rockfield fan here
    on a fluke deal... Haaaaaahhhhhaaaaa
    Ultimately... I'm a DiMarzio kinda fool tho.

    I'm getting GAS bad for Michael Kelly guitars!

    It's my 30th Birthday this year. Maybe I should treat myself in October!

    Pat Q's do not have Rockfield pups and do have MK PAF Plus pups. These are damn good too if you asked me.

    FWIW: My MK Pat Q has no serial number and was made before Hanser bought them, so I called MK customer service to ask a few questions. They gave me the email of Todd Rockfield who has been with MK since its beginnings and said to ask him. You know... the man who the Rockfields are named after.

    @nthony... why wait?

    I think I'm going to put .11s on my MK tonight... I have been using .10s, but I'm liking the .11s on my other guitars. I wonder if I will have to reset the intonation?

    I'd definitely check it. You might need to tweak the truss rod too.

    Todd Rockfield is a great guy. When I first began looking at the Michael Kelly guitars I had lots of questions - some good ones and some quirky ones (e.g., why specific pickup color choices on different MK models?). Todd was extremely patient and very helpful. Primarily because of him, I did get an MK with the SWC Rockfield pickups.
