but the zoom doesn't work.
and i want it to work.
i just purchased a zoom guitar effects processor, and the software is not W7 64bit compatible, and it says not to run it through a USB hub.
i have an HP media center pc that has HDMI hpw2408h monitor that has two usb ports, but i'm plugging this into the computer usb's directly.
although i tried to set the compability settings back to vista and xp on both the , it still doesn't work, and it has now silenced my standard sound drivers.
although i did a system restore that worked once, second time around, zapped.
i'm wondering if there is any workaround.
the zoom software can be found at:
http://www.zoom.co.jp/english/support/faq/g1u.php#02
i don't think there's any way to make this work, but i thought i'd ask.
now, how the heck do i get my original w7 sound drivers to work?
thanks in advance.

You'll just have to wait for Zoom to produce compatible software. I'm sure they will unless the unit is about to be superceded. The USB hub thing is probably due to power considerations.
