The Pet Thread
Post pic's and/or stories of your favorite pets, past and present.
(apologies to Robert if The Fret is going to the dogs!)
Meet Ziggy, the super dog. We adopted him about 3 years ago. He's half whippet, half Rhodesian Ridgeback. That makes him quick with plenty of endurance, extremely sweet, adaptable, and if needed, a devoted defender of the family. I've owned border collies who weren't as smart as this guy.
He's a real ham...
Gentle enough to play with cats and smaller dogs...
And a sweet, loving dog for the boys...

Katie the greyhound
Meet the big retired racer, Katie, formerly "Catunda Kate". We adopted her a few years ago after she had 2 litters. She started racing in Ireland, then the US East Coast, then Texas.
She's now 10 1/2 years old, but in wonderful shape and loves to chase the Ziggy dog around the back yard. She is exceptionally sweet and friendly, loves to take over any couch, and thinks all small dogs are her puppies.
