    Default Vox survey

Did anybody else get a VOX survey via email? I got one a month or so ago.

It asked questions about what the users wanted in the future from VOX.

    Choices included.

    New digital modelling amps

    Inexpensive low watt tube amps

I have been thinking that we may see a bunch of new amps and heads along the line of the Epi Valve Junior. Success breeds gear.

I've also wondered what changes they would make if they were to introduce the second generation of valvereactor based modellers.

Well what suggestions do the fretters have for VOX?

How about the V847 Wah with the true-bypass setup pre-installed? I love this Wah but it should be true bypass. It was sucking the life out of my sound until I made the mod.

That would be my vote. Give me the Valve Jr. equivalent of an AC-30 for about $150!

    Yeah, me too.

I did put such a vote down.

If it does come to pass I expect fawning praise and admiration from these parts!

They should also never stop manufacturing the Pathfinder, probably the best-sounding solid-state amp around.

    Yeah, I got one.

(WARNING: Gratutious praise to our Friendly Forum Boss ahead)

Somebody needs to write down on their survey a suggestion to hire Robert as a travelling spokesman for the company. Sales would skyrocket, I tell ya. Skyrocket!
