    Default shuttle liftoff [pics]

    well the shuttle lifted off successfully...we can walk outside and look east and see it. We are approx. 50 m iles from the Kennedy Space Center. Here are a few pics i took of todays launch!





    below is a series of 3 pics i took to show the entire smoke trail...


    here is a portion of one of my pictures at 100% where you can actually see the shuttle itself (i was using a 600mm lens).

    Very cool pics!! We were down at daytona over the 4th and saw the shuttle take off. Awesome!!
