    Default Session Player's Setup

I really didnt know which forum to place this but anyways...
With the attached clip thought here might be the best place for discussion.

Brent Mason a Nashville Sessions player, Probably most famous for playing with Alan Jackson
Has had a Video out From Hotlicks called - Brent Mason - Nashville Chops and Western Swing. Note that
he is a sessions player not just a country picker.. this video has Tele licks , Strat licks plus
alot about Western Swing to Jazz playing on his jazz box.. If you get the chance , this is a well worth
the watch mainly listening to him talk about Guitars and equipment he uses. Listening to a professional explain his gear setup for a variety of equipment (I wont mention here what he uses) reminded me of all the G.A.S. around here.. and the reason for it..

I put up a video clip(low quality mpeg-1) on his equipment setup and it's a good watch... Clip will be gone once not downloaded for 30 days.. so take the moment to check it out if you like to talk/listen about gear.. And if you got an Extra $25.00 laying around go buy the Video to enjoy some new licks and styles.. or rent it..well worth it imho.

Wow, this sounds like a great video to watch. I've read about Brent Mason. He was the top session guy in Nashville for quite a while. This should be a good video.

Brent Mason is a very talented guitarist! I saw that video (or perhaps another instruction video) running in a music store once, he has very quick fingers!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
