LIVE AND LET ROCK!!
I just ordered a white AL2000 with gold hardware and pups for my fiance's nephew and got a brand new Peavey Royal 8 for him to begin his guitar experience with.
I figure it's a good idea to start out with good stuff if you want someone to have their mind blown and stick with it.
The teacher and lessons have already been set up for the unsuspecting recipient.
This should be fun.
