Default New to The Fret from Pittsburgh

    Hey guys...

been lurking through Roberts lessons and things, so I figured I may as well sign up.

Been playing for about 30 years now. I like most genre of music to some degree. Currently playing in 2 bands, one heavy rock (lots of 80s stuff) and recently I put together a little blues band (because one cannot live on rock alone) and occasionally I do an acoustic duo.

Lots of guitars and amps but I play mostly Strats and my old Santana SE through an H&K duotone.

Here's a couple of bad video, but fair audio clips... Don't pay any attention to the runaway drummer in the blues clip, It's something like the 4th gig and we're working to hold him back on tempos.

    Blues

Rock, intro and first solo are me

Well, that's about it for now

Hi and welcome. Both bands sound good.
    Why no lighting?
This is a pretty cool way to get lit.

    Welcome to the forum.

30 years? I'm a beginner (2 -3 years of not so dedicated practice).

I think you will enjoy it here.

I'm up in the Cleveland area, so you know what that means.

Thanks for the warm welcome... I will have to look into those lights. Mostly though, I don't have room to haul them. :ide:Maybe I can get one of the other guys to spring for them.

That's why I like them. They are only 4 inches thick in the case. Pretty cool and no heat.
