    I stumbled across another Strat at the pawn shop. It is a Deluxe model with honey drippin off of it.

    That will be very hard to clean off. I knew an idiot who ate PB&J sandwiches and played a borrowed guitar. It was very hard to get clean.

    Congrats! But watch out for black bears and grizzlies - they love honey dipped guitars as much as you do.

    DZ3 denotes an Am Deluxe made in 2003. The number behind the Z is the year. They started with the Z prefix in 2000. DZ0, and so forth.
    The rest of the numbers will be the date of manufacture and a sequence number. I am not sure on the format of the rest of the numbers but the DZ3 is definitely 2003.

    In New York, we found that the Black Bears are fond of Chicken Grease, at least that's the way it was when I lived up there
