    079900 to x35500 (E5 to Cmaj7)

    or

    022400 to x35500 (E5 to Cmaj7)

    022400 to x35500 (E5 to Cmaj7) sounds better because chords ring "clearer" on lower frets, I find.

    What I thought though I found the other easier to finger. Time to practice that chord. Thanks Robert.
