The Electro-Harmonix Cathedral Stereo Reverb is a source for serious GAS.

I see they liked the M9 multi effects box, which should put smiles on a few Fretters faces.
I played a Tele '72 Thinline Deluxe a few days ago and fell in love with it, so even though I'm scratching my head on why an existing guitar made their best of the year list, I can see why they liked it. I'd expect something new and never before seen to make it to number 1, however.

I don't know about the Fender Road Worn bass making the list. I still can't grasp the idea of buying a MIM guitar that's been beaten up and had it's price doubled.

I'm sure this was discussed here before I joined a year ago, but I have to agree and add my .02. I can't see buying a "worn" guitar for that much extra. I approve of the good ol' fashioned way... tens of years and thousands of hours playing.Originally Posted by hubberjub
I guess it is the poor man's relic, considering an original, well played and worn in 50's or 60's Fender brings a nice price tag. Heck, the "new" Fender Custom Shop relics can run $3K to $7K!
