Wow, awesome rock tones in this thing! I was quite impressed, especially considering the price.

I played the head and matching cab. Loud, and fun.

Clean? Nah, not Fender clean, but I guess some kind of half-overdriven clean, you could say. This amph is meant to ROK OUT with! I was impressed by the rock tone - awesome classic rock sound.

That's what I'd heard too. It's just a flat out rock machine. No being dainty about it at all.

Just picked up a windsor 100 watt head for 150.00 less than a year old, after opening this thing up I think this is a perfect platform for modding, the board layout is nice and should be real easy to work on. make the cleans sound a little better.

    You mean this ??

I got mine for $399. When I first got it I didn't like it, it sounded bad. Later I found it was the tubes so I ordered a quartet of power tubes, same brand same grade. Now that was much better and IT ROCKS!!

The cleans is quite decent but when I use the MFX pedals and chose the fender model it'll sound like a fender with a very little coloring. Works well enough.

I ain't kidding, this amp was a bargain.

Does Peavey make "dainty" anything?? lol

I had a Triumph 120, which screamed... But the 1x12(?) combo weighed as much as my entire halfstack, I think... lol
