    Default Hagstrom Swede - New Guitar Day!

    I bought a new guitar today! Well, I haven't actually payed for it yet... I am testing out over the weekend, but I suspect I won't be able to return the guitar due to its coolness...

    It's a guitar I've played at the store for over a year. Can't believe nobody bought it yet. So, I walked in there today, and it just talked to me. It outright said "get me, buddy, we'll be great friends, I promise!" - and who can resist when a guitar talks dirty to you like that? So, the guitar followed me home.

    I'll let you guess what it is. It's under $600 CDN.

    <edit>
    I am adding this video, since the smart minds here on TheFret figured it out pretty quick.

    well, if it was "talking dirty" it must be an electric. Acoustics are the ones you take home to meet Mom, electrics are bad.....

    I'm guessin' it has a beautiful pair...of humbuckers, of course.

    What the heck kind of stop bar is that...I immediately think Gold top Epi because you said below 600 so that rules out a Gibson, but that tailpiece puzzles me... It looks to have a carved top but I can't tell for sure. Who makes a double humbucking under 600...

    Nice finish Robert! So is it a Epi?
    I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
