Default Played A Taylor T5 Yesterday

Sure, it's very pricy at over two grand (the one I played had a beautiful koa top and was $2,789), but what a wonderful instrument. Light as a feather, and absolutely beautiful. The range of sounds is impressive, especially in the area of amplified acoustic sounds. The lipstick pickup gives great true-electric tones, too. Different from anything I've ever played. It seems as if it could be an excellent all-around guitar for a lot of players, unless they want a true rock guitar. Alas, I cannot afford it, but one can dream....

The T5 is a very cool, versatile guitar. As you say lot O coin.

Michael Kelly has a low cost Hybrid that does a lot of the same things the Taylor does for a lot less $$

Taylor T3 is much cheaper than the T5 still not cheap but it is still one heck of a guitar.
