    Yes, get it.

He said it is a late 90s model, if that's any help.

Snag it but try to lowball (everyone does). Offer $130 if he takes it you got a heck of a deal. If not the full price is a good deal too.

Yep, the pickups and the case are worth $150. I've played some inexpensive Pacificas and they were pretty nice guitars.

Yes. I bought it. The neck fret board is definitely a bit thinner than my MK or Samick. The Lace Sensor pickups have virtually no 60hz buzz/hum. The DiMarzio AirZone PUP really rocks.

The serial number says it's either a 95 or 2005 but I don't know which, I think it's probably a 2005 (bummer). The guy at my local music store was less than enthused. He basically thought the guitar was a piece of crap. In contrast, he RAVED about a Samick I bought a couple months ago, so I don't think he was just shitting on it because I didn't buy it there.

It stays in tune, the action is nice, and it seems pretty comfortable. Actually, I like it quite a bit.

Is this the same guy that told you you can't use single coils to play slide?

OMG... I see what he means about not playing slide with a single coil pickup. That was horrendous.

The guy at our local-ish shop isn't too bright either.
