    It plays beautifully. I've been tweaking it in for a few days now. Sounds right between a strat and a les paul. I will try to get a clip or two over the next couple of days. Probably the stratiest gibson there is, which is perfect for me

    MMm Firebird!! awesome guitars.. Oh how I love the sound of those minihumbuckers!

    Yeah I would take that over just about any SG out there (though the '61 DOES look pretty sweet). I've always loved the Firebird tone, and they're just cool lookin' guitars too.

    Congrats.

    I have a cheapo Epi Thunderbird bass, and that's a bosstastic body style. If I wasn't out of room and money, I'd have a Firebird as well.
