Ibanez SZR-720TGB (Transparent Gray Burst).

Kinda unique 2008/2009-only model. Just discontinued, along with the less-blingy SZR-520. My local indy Ibz dealer scored a couple of the last NOS ones in this finish at closeout pricing via NAMM. I acquired one from him this past weekend, along with a Peavey PowerSlide and some other items via horse-trading for an '02 Tak Santa Fe EAC38C I had offered F/S (EDIT 3/15/10) in this thread and had put on consignment there.

I'll put up some actual photos when I get around to actually reviewing this and the PowerSlide.

I'm not sure how far into Strat/superstrat shape the Peavey T-series is, but they are somewhat closer to symmetrical than a Strat:

Yep, my Corvette has to be in this thread. After a few Squiers, Ibanez's and Parker's, i found the one that really speaks to me, ya'know... the guitar that everyone says "needs to feel right", well, this is it... and at a very close second, those Parker's.

Well, to my ears this is an "in-between" guitar among the F and G guitar names.
As lots of Corvette users claim (i have no personal experience with F's nor G's), the neck feels exactly like a croos between those two brands... see, in between.
And as for tone, to me it's something in between a single coil and a humbucker... you could really fool somebody in it being a single coil.
I play it directly into a Vox 15R practice amp and i'm sure that this helps a lot in my perception of tone... maybe on a Fender amp it would sound different, hey, i guess that happens on every guitar, right?

The first things i noticed even before plugging it was: weight, comfort and sustain... lots of sustain. Maybe it's because of the Bigsby, or it being a slab of wood but it kinda feels the whole guitar resonates when played (and no, there are no loose screws making this effect).
It, sorry... she really feels different from most of the GC's wall guitars.
I (emphasize, I) feel it very similar to a Parker guitar... not the Fly model, i've only played those affordable P-series Parker guitars and they really are something else.

Oh yeah... almost forgot: it does sound like a Gretsch.

I like that it's its own genre altogether. Not like a Fender or a LP, or an SG, not like a 335 or a 6120. Completely original.....

What's the story? Are these currently being made?
