I just booked marked your site and I'll be checking it out tonight.
Today we are starting with the root patterns from the CAGED system. I need to get all of the content from my old site to the new one and I figured that moving a lesson a day would give folks a chance to catch up on the older stuff
http://markweinguitarlessons.com/for...etboard-Theory
They are also being posted on the front page as articles and any discussion or comments gets dumped into the "lessons" forum as a new thread....
Have fun!

It's Minor Scale Monday!
http://markweinguitarlessons.com/for...Scale-Lesson-1
This week we have Minor scales and then Relative Major and Minor scale relationships.
If I have the time I'm going to try and get a new lesson or two out about deriving your Pentatonic scales from their major and minor diatonic parents (the scales we've been working on this week and last). If not then next week might be all new lessons since I have some stuff I want to add into the "lesson plan" at this stage that I didn't do the first time around....
Here is todays:

We also have a few blogs starting on playing Jazz, building your own pedals and studio recording among other topics and they are being written by other guys on the site: http://markweinguitarlessons.com/forums/blog.php
Check it out!
Thanks Mark for your time,,,,,,and playing
