Default I'm new and I play the guitar (VIDEOS)

Hi everyone. I've been playing blues guitar for more than 20 years now. I've just found this forum and I'd like to share my music with you.

I recorded these two tunes a few days ago.

1st - My rendition of "Mr Sandman", fingerpicking style, a Chet Atkins' favourite.

    Mr Sandman

2nd - My arrangement of "Misty", a jazz classic.

    Misty

Both are played with a Gretsch Nashville and a Fender Deluxe Reverb.

I hope to be a regular from now on, now I'm officially a member. Congratulations for a great place for guitar addicts!! See you around.

Nice. I love the fact you have an extra long, quadruple-jointed pinky finger that can stretch a dozen frets. :-)

Welcome! Really nice stuff! I love that Gretsch sound too. I myself am trying to learn (on a beginner/intermediate level) jazz oriented blues arrangements, chords/voicings, and conversely, blues orient jazz, along with a bunch of other stuff. I look forward to having you involved here.

I almost got a Gretsch but got a Hagstrom Viking for now instead to get into that territory a bit.

Lovely ! Welcome, Quique -look forward to hearing more. The guitarist for the Eilen Jewell Band has the same rig, and gets a similar sound and vibe. Check them out, you might like them.
