Guitarist magazine had an article last month about this and it appears to be the real deal - jamming with musicians across the globe in real time with zero latency.
There's a free 30day trial - I'll definitely give it a go as soon as I free up some time.

That sounds so awesome, and I'd definitely invest in the software if it meant I could play/learn in real time with some other 'Fretters.
